If iframe loads need to be avoided, could we get easy access to add proper <title> and <meta description> tags?

HTML <title> can be populated with in-Blender scene name since 15.01.

using an image sequence as a texture would be handy, being able to sync up audio and images for a tv or movie screen.

Image sequences are available since 15.01.

The Turntable or "Rotate" button seems to work or not work depending on whether the Play/Pause button has been pressed while the Scene was in Rotation mode. Perhaps anytime the scene has been Paused; and someone presses the "Rotate" button again, it should start rotating and automatically switch the Play/pause button as well.

Done for the upcoming 15.02 release.

Many web authoring apps have checkbox in export dialog box called "open in browser after export".
So exported html will automatically open in default browser.
Is this doable with Blender?

Implemented in 15.02.

Maybe even a prerendered mp4-video instead 3D content when 3D is not supported.
There are quite a lot of low-end smartphones and tablets that can't play 3D in browser but can play html5 video.

This has been implemented as a fallback_video URL parameter. Just wait for 15.02.

We have implemented a workaround for systems without the WebGL_depth_texture extension.
Glow, dynamic reflection, anti-aliasing and some post-processing effects will work in IE and on Qualcomm devices.

In the upcoming 15.02 release, there will be an option to preserve rotation for billboards. This option will be helpful for procedural objects such as Text.

You would still export from the export menu, or if you were feeling really original instead of having a render button you would just have an "export" button which would actually just create the HTML or corresponding JSON file instead, this could respect the "output" field like other renderers do, allowing a quick explicit way to re-export to the same file. At the most this could call the default system browser on the created file if the user intended so. [smiling-sunglasses]

The upcoming 15.02 release will feature a development server. You will able to automatically open exported scenes in your default browser.
