A second call from JavaScript to the same Logic-Node entry-point does not trigger the cube animation again.

This should work as of 16.05, please check this.

is there a way to switch an Environment-Map via API call?
For Image-Map textures there is the render-canvas approach.

As of 16.05, changing bitmaps is possible for both 2D textures and cubemaps. smiling-sunglasses
