Great to have these new features again! :)
One question: do you know if there's any performance issues when viewing blend4web-html:s in 4k monitors? I have a 4k laptop (very powerful one) and it struggles to view even basic scenes without lagging (in "high" quality). And the content doesn't look like it's actually 4k, I think it might be scaled up from 1080p.
Anyways, great stuff as usual in this new release. Keep up the good work!

Hi, and thank you for the new awesome release!
The new "move camera" node is just what I needed. It's hugely important to be able to move the camera target around efficiently
It seems that the node "snaps" the camera to the new location immediately if you switch between 2 target objects. Is there any way to smooth out the translation a bit? i tried to animate the target object's location, but that didn't seem to work. It would be really nice to be able to have the target change location smoothly.
But yeah, very exciting release again! The switch select node is also very useful.

Wow, finally we can do object based animation that isn't tied to the timeline! Thank you, this is great news :)
Though, I somehow couldn't get it to work. The logic nodes didn't work as I expected.. Could you please show the logic node setup for the drawer demo that you had in the blog post?
Thanks!

Hi again…
Is it possible to animate material's alpha value with NLA scripts?
I'm trying to make an interface in which by pressing objects planes with text appear on the screen. I can get the transparency to work by setting "alpha sort" from the game engine, but I can't get the transparency to animate. I want the planes to be transparent in front of the camera (parented), and then by clicking something to become opaque.
What I already did/tried:
- setting "alpha sort/blend/clip/add" for the material in game engine
- animating the material's alpha value
- converting the animation into NLA strip
- setting up the interface with addon's NLA script blocks
I also tried to do the interface by animating the parented plane's position so that it would come on the screen from outside. But that didn't work either, so I guess animating parented object's location isn't possible?

Hi,
I already got helped by you guys on my project (thank you!), and while working on that I came up with some suggestions for the add-on. These are about camera's "panning mode" when in Target move style. I'm sure you've already thought of most of these, but just in case…
- it'd be great to be able to set the speed of the panning with simple slider, so that one wouldn't have to scale the whole scene up/down to get desired speed for the panning.
- it would be very helpful to be able to lock certain axis in panning mode, e.g locking Z so that camera moves only in XY-plane when dragging with RMB/scroll wheel. (hover mode already does that, but the controls are not quite as pleasant and intuitive for e.g product presentations)
- including horizontal and vertical translation limits for the panning, as in hover mode. This would help to not get lost from the model accidentally, and increase usability.
(and one from other area: automatically converting cycles node setups: this is probably very much to ask, and I think it may not even be possible, but many of us users would scream of joy if this was to happen…)
That's it. As I've said earlier, the add-on is very powerful already as it is, and it's a joy to use
Have a nice day!

Wait… parenting works in the add-on!? Wow, I always just got an error message saying "object-parent relation is not supported, please clear parent's inverse transform", and I thought it's not possible… Now I got it to work, this is awesome
Unfortunately I can't send you the original .blend, as it is a confidential project, but there's really nothing there to see. Billboards are fine (more so because parenting actually works, holy moly that makes things easier…) The problem here is animating the camera's center of rotation.
Thanks for this already, the parenting makes things so much easier! I can't believe I didn't try to clear the inverse trasformation when the error always came… Also, it's awesome that non-linear animation is coming
