Hi Yuri,
I'm still trying to achieve this HTML integration for Blend4Web. My main issue is that I have very little web programming experience.
So far I have tracked down the buttons in the code but I can't figure out how the send a message to b4w. I know it's a big ask but is there a step by step guide on how to do this?
For my example I want to use a HTML button to change the material of an object. I have achieved this within the b4w interface using the logic editor currently.
Many Thanks
Danny

Here's a blend file showing the material swapping working (html also). This has stack materials with diffuse colours only. There are no node materials.
If I try to add textures, though the stack or through the node editor… the whole thing breaks.
My main aim is to make a product configurator where materials can be inherited from small swatches. I'm so close but can't get it working

Hi,
I'm having issues displaying textures using the Fast Preview tool.
Material colours display fine but the texture maps do not.
When I export these scene to a html file and open in Chrome, the textures are there.
I'm also getting the error message: warning section is disabled for node materials and static objects.
I have disabled node materials to try and fix the problem but there is no change. (image attached showing error).

Hi,
I've just done a fresh install of the SDK. I have created a new project.
I have opened the default demo .blend file and made some changes. When I try to save the file I get the error 'Permission Denied'.
Also when I try to edit the .js or html file (even with the server stopped) I get the same access error.
How should I use the project manager to work on and develop new projects?

Is is possible to use html buttons to control the blen4web scene?
For example, I want to show different versions of a product. When button 1 is clicked, product 1 shows. When button 2 is clicked, product 1 hides and product 2 appears… and so on.
I can configure this from within the b4w presentation 3d window but I want to use controls on the web page instead.
If we get a web designer to make a full webpage, is it possible to use part of that design (buttons) to control the blend4web presentation?
I have attached a crude drawing to explain the functionality I have described.
Thanks

Hi Konstantin,
Thanks for your reply. My questions are motivated by a requirement to deliver potentially very complex scenes to a wide range of hardware… including some low spec laptops and mobile devices.
Is there a way to output a single rendered frame to a jpg rather than to the web browser?
Many thanks for your help.
