Freeze camera node

Hello,
Is there any plan to implement a way to temporarily freeze the camera in place until a condition is met?
For example, if I want to trigger a cutscene and I don't want the user to be able to move the camera until it's finished?, Or if a trigger opens a menu, I don't want the user to be able to rotate the scene while the menu is opened.

you could use multiple cameras and switch to the static one with a delay, then switch back to the controlled camera.
